Bio:
I'm a writer based in Cardiff whose experience is founded upon more than a decade working in sales & marketing alongside a lifelong passion for the written word.
In 2010 I graduated from Swansea University with an MA in Creative & Media Writing (passed with distinction, he says with awkward immodesty).
As a writer I've worked on an eclectic range of projects. From web content to regular blog posts I've delivered engaging, value-adding content for a diverse client-list across numerous sectors. These include, but are not limited to: IT, Insurance, Marketing, Financial Services, Travel, Health, Property, Nutrition, Sports, Film & Media.
I've had the pleasure to work with magazine publications contributing to features, interviews and listings as well as carrying out copy-editing and proof-reading.
In addition I've worked with PR companies, SEO agencies and private enterprises, delivering on and offline copywriting services including: blogs, product descriptions, sales literature, brochures, press releases and case studies.
I'm a published writer of short fiction and regularly contribute online to a film blog (a personal passion of mine) and a US-themed travel site.
And, for good measure, I occasionally lead creative-writing workshops at schools local to me, where I'm always amazed at the boundless imagination and talent that exists in the younger folk.
Other Info:
I've fiction published in a Parthian Books anthology for new voices in Welsh literature. In addition I have a number of short stories published and now available online through the Cutalongstory web platform. I'm also a past winner of the Speakeasy National Short Fiction Prize.
